And it's weird how PD's messages lately (especially yesterday's) applied to us...hrm.

  • Atheists vs. Christians

After having spent 3 days with a group of mostly Atheists, I've realized that these people really aren't that different from Christians. Sure, they swear more, have sensual conversations and partake in many questionable ventures, but when I think about it, how much different is that from what Christians do? We gossip as if there is no tomorrow, place our earthly desires before anything/one else, pop in the occasional curse word, engage in somewhat sensual ventures, and the list continues.

There is also another similarity about Atheists and Christians:
    a firm belief.

No matter how hard one may try to argue a point, the dissent from the opposition comes back harsher and stronger than the one from before. I tried to talk theology with someone in this group and he just kept on going about HIS beliefs. I noticed that he was grabbing onto an idea similar to that of Christians - an idea that HE is right and that everyone else is wrong. I respect that; not the result, but the firm hold he has onto his beliefs.

Very interesting thing I noticed over the past 3 days... that is all.

    P.S. - William & Mary is a really nice college - beautiful!

  • Frustration

Okay, so the Eagles lost to the RAIDERS. I mean, COME ON. The Raiders? ugh.

So homework, projects, and assesments have been piling up - I have so many this week. Then again, this is the last week of the quarter (for me), so it's no wonder that the teachers are going nuts right now. Blahblahblah. OH, and now my stupid computer goes insane and gets ANOTHER virus. Wow. Then, when I need to do homework on my dad's laptop, the stupid Microsoft Office demands a product key, which we don't seem to have. I mean, can I please get a break?
Personally? Sure, I'm okay. Not the best, but okay. I'm still trying to sort things out in life.

Looking back at this entry, it's just a bunch of "wahwah-ing" but that fits my mood well now:
Frustrated, disappointed, stressed, sad, never at rest, and all the rest.

*Maybe I should keep myself in my room for the rest of junior year - no tv, no computer (unless it is necessary), no playing around... ONLY HOMEWORK, STUDYING, BORING STUFF.
    okay.. signing off*

  • THE Haena Lee

    TEEHEE.
I still remember all those times you said/typed that. Now you don't do it anymore... I miss that - it was like your catch-phrase. You should start doing it again - that's YO THING. Haha.
Anyways, you're a good person. I think we knew each other for a while, however, I have more vivid memories of you recently. I remember when I was very awkward around you maybe even last year, two years ago? ... that was quite the weird phase for me, so let's not get into that - hopefully you forgive me for my awkwardness of the past (if you don't know what I mean... then that's GOOD).
But yeah, you're not an awkward person. I've learned that through spending time with you in officer meetings, rides to/from k-fest, life, etc. I regret not having spent more time with you before. Freaking, if I had known that you were such a cool person, I would have tried to be good friends with you instead of being an awkward idiot.
I remember your note from last retreat. It was the best one I got. It had a message of hope and of the future. your not was sincere with a bit of humor mixed into it. THAT'S A GOOD TRAIT ABOUT YOU! ---
You can combine playfulness into serious situations. That's what people need; a lighter atmosphere to work in.
I suppose that's another reason why I want(ed) to spend more time with you - you're a fun person to be around.
Okay, you can disagree if you wish, but I am sincerely saying that. Look at it this way, you like football (Eagles!!) and you have a manly (harhar) take on things. Maybe I'm wrong, but you're less sensitive than other girls, which allows me to be more flexible around you and know that my jokes won't offend you as easily. Your advice isn't that bad either (although you sometimes seem to be in your own world haha).
By the way, if anything in this is wrong/offends you, you can tell me.
You're smart. I don't care what you say, you are. You'll get into a great school that works for you. God works miracles, and who knows? You just might get into Vtech (: I hope you do... I won't have to see your face weekly... haha jkjk! I just pray that God will do what He deems best for you in your life. Don't be too angry if things don't go accordingly; greater things are yet to come.

Anyways, this is just a playful ending note. Once you hit second semester, play with me more :D I can drive then too, so I can hang out with the SPCYG "senior crew" hahaha. Or hang out with me now! Anytime (: hahah

But yeah. Don't forget me, however, I would be easy to forget. I am not exactly the most memorable person, like Eric, who everyone will remember (probably).
So yeah, here's your entry. I probably forgot a lot of stuff, but I tried my best.
    TEEHEE
(I'll teach you that one day)
